Title Search Help
Our
website database contains over 10000 Ashgate, Gower and Lund
Humphries titles currently in print or in production. Our title
search allows you to search for ebook editions (which are
available in both ebook PDF and ebook ePUB formats from the
specialist ebook resellers listed on our ebook pages: www.ashgate.com/ebooks).
You can search by Title, Series
Title, Author,
ISBN or by
Subject. You can choose to include
ebooks in your search results, exclude
ebooks or search only for ebooks by
using the ebooks radio buttons on the search
screen. The default search will exclude ebooks so if you are looking
for our ebooks, please change the radio button to either
include ebooks or only ebooks as required.
By using our Advanced search option you can
also search within Contents lists and
Blurbs (book descriptions) as well
as searching for titles published in the current
month, previous month, current
year or before or after a
selected date (simply press the
'Advanced' button to access these additional
search fields).
To search our website database, simply type in your search
criteria in the relevant box on our Title Search page and click the
Search button (note that you do not need
to fill in all the boxes to search). The Title Search will
then display a list of titles, which match the search criteria
entered. You can choose to view more details about the titles
displayed, add titles to your Wishlist or add books to your basket from
the search results screen.
For more detailed information on how to use our Title Search
facility, please refer to our Search
Tips page.
If you are unable to find a title using the Title Search
facility it may be for any of the following reasons:
- The search terms were not entered correctly.
- The title is not published by Ashgate, Gower or Lund
Humphries.
- The title is out of print or is not yet in production.
If you cannot find the title you are looking for and have
checked that the above reasons do not apply, please contact us at
ashgate.online@ashgate.com
giving full details of the title you are searching for.
If you are interested in a particular subject area you may
choose to browse the relevant subject pages. Our main subject
areas are displayed on the left hand side of the screen and you can
browse through them by clicking on the relevant button. Each
subject area is broken down into sub-subjects and it is these that
you can search by using the 'Subject' option on
the search screen.
